The last Sunday in April is known as Mother Father Deaf day. This is a designated day that codas around the world celebrate their deaf parents! KODAheart is excited to announce we will be hosting a Mother Father deaf – WAFFLE brunch in Austin, TX! The event will be at the historic Austin Deaf Club on April 26th from 10a-2p.
Attendees will be able to enjoy homemade (VEGAN!) waffles with several different topping options! A $10 ticket gets you two amazing waffles, toppings, and juice/coffee. $5 ticket consists of one waffle, toppings, and juice/coffee. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door the day of the event.
Throughout the day, there will be a schedule of fun “waffle” themed activities for the children to participate in- these events include a waffle toss, waffle on a string challenge, as well as several other fun games! This event is open to the entire community, make sure you bring your empty tummies and be prepared to get your waffle on!
